High blood pressure or Hypertension as it is called in medical terms is one of the most severe ailments in today’s modern world. Usually, blood pressure higher than 140/90 is considered as Hypertension.

Blood pressure may be different at different times. High blood pressure for a short time is natural, but for a longer duration, it can cause serious health problems. It increases the risk of heart attack, heart failure, stroke, kidney failure, and blindness.

Usually, hypertension occurs after the age of forty, but now it is not uncommon to see people of very young age also having this problem.
