Ever heard a teenager shriek with happiness during a movie? That’s most probably because she just saw the cutest and most romantic scene in one of her favourite teen movies. Here is a list of the top 10 teenage films which if you haven’t watched you should find the time to watch.

First on my list of best teen movies, is the summer love of Danny (John Travolta) and Sandy (Olivia Newton-John) who meet each other on a trip to Australia and fall in love with each other having a short-lived love affair. When they leave, they think they will never meet again, but things go the other way round.

This movie is one of my favourite teen movies to watch.

Anna (Lindsay Lohan) is a repulsive teenager and does not get along with her mother Tess (Jamie Lee Curtis). One Friday they wake up after having fought the previous night in different bodies and have to live each other’s life until they find a solution to return.

A fun teenage movie filled with laughter and fun.

6.    Mean Girls (2004)

Cady (Lindsay Lohan) joins a new school which is ruled by The Plastics and mainly Regina George (Rachel McAdams). While she befriends Janis and Damian, they come up with a plan to get Cady into the group and bring about the downfall of The Plastics.

This teenage movie has got to be one of the most famous and favourites of teenagers around the world.

7.    She’s the Man (2006)

Juno is a teenage movie that you will enjoy and relate to.

Last on my list is one of the best teen movies ever made ‘The Perks of Being a Wallflower’.

Charlie (Logan Lerman) is a young high school student who is an introvert and dealing with a lot of mental stress with the death of his best friend and his mental health too. He befriends two seniors Patrick (Ezra Miller) and Sam (Emma Watson) who help him and teach him to live life to the fullest.
