Early Life

Gerald Earl Gillum was born in Oakland, California, U.S. After his mother left his father when G Eazy was in 1st grade, he moved in with his grandparents in Berkeley, California and attended a school there.

He later attended Loyola University at New Orleans.

Career

Gillium began to work on several singles when he was a student at Loyola University. He gained recognition for being a part of the new hip-hop scene back in the East Bay Area, joining with artists such as Lil B, Crohn and the Cataracs.
