  • Avoid oversleeping. Sleep maximum for 6 hours, oversleeping makes you lazy and dull
  • Drink 2-3 glass of warm water after waking up as it helps to flush out the excess mucus secreted in the body during night time. It is best to drink warm water only after cleaning teeth and tongue
  • Regular vigorous exercise is an essential part of the lifestyle for kapha body type as they tend to be lazy and overweight. Push yourself to exercise daily between 6-10 am as it is the best time to stabilize kapha.
  • As kapha types are more prone to respiratory allergies, cold, & flu practicing Nasya or nasal rinsing with Neti pot is very beneficial. For Nasya, tilt your head upside down and instill 3-5 drops warm sesame oil or ghee into each nostril and let it absorb
  • Massage your body with heating oil like sesame oil, or if you have oily skin, you can dry massage your body with rice flour or chickpea flour. After massage take a relaxing warm bath. Avoid bathing with cold water

  • 10 am-2 pm is the best time to have your main meal as digestive fire is most active during this time. Have a light dinner 2-3 hours before going to bed
