James Joseph “Jim” Parsons was born in Houston Texas and raised in one of its northern suburbs Spring. He attended Klein Oak High School in Spring. He also earned bachelor’s degree from the University of Houston. In 1999, he enrolled at the University of San Diego.

Parsons married his long-time boyfriend art director Todd Spiewak.

Career

Parsons began to participate in several stages acting from a very young age. When he was six, he played the role of Kola-Kola bird in a school production of “The Elephant Child”, which made him decide to have a career as an actor.
