Nas, the popular American rapper, actor and entrepreneur is worth $50 million as of 2018. One of the greatest hip-hop artists, Nas has released eight consecutive platinum and multi-platinum albums.
Nasir Bin Olu Dara Jones was born in Crown Heights, Brooklyn, New York City and raised in the Long Island City neighbourhood of Queens. He dropped out of his school after the eighth grade, when his parents filed for divorce.
Nas married R&B singer Kelis in Atlanta in 2005, and the couple filed for a divorce in 2009 which was finalised on May 21st, 2010.

Nas is a spokesperson for P’Tones Records, a non-profit after-school music program. The mission of the program is to create opportunities for urban youth through no-cost music program.
