If you’re using the Windows operating system

Windows Edge

  • Close active window: ALT + F4

Google Chrome

  • Close current window: CTRL + SHIFT + W
  • Or you may push ALT + F4

Internet Explorer

  • Minimize all windows (this will minimise all open windows to your Windows taskbar): Windows Key + M
  • Quit IE (this will only quit the active instance of IE; if you have other windows open, you will need to repeat this shortcut for them): ALT + F4

Mozilla Firefox
